JONES CABIN


 

Jones cabin is a log cabin located in a private cove 25 feet from the edge of Long Lake. The Jones cabin was built in the 1960's, from nearby cedar logs by local craftsmen for Eddy Jones, founder of Long Lake Camps. It is in a private wooded area and has its own dock as well as a picnic table and charcoal grill.

Jones Cabin has a screened in porch that looks out to the lake.

All of the rooms are on the first floor. The front door opens to a living room which features a couch that converts to a queen-size bed and a Vermont Castings wood stove.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a full-size stove and refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, and dishes/pots/pans etc.

The dining room has wrap around windows which give a panoramic view of the lake.

One bedroom has a double bed, a day bed, night stand and bureau. The second bedroom has a bunk bed, a twin bed, a night stand and two bureaus.

There is a full bathroom with shower and electric hot water heater.

In the front and back upper sections of the cabin are two large storage areas that could be finished off for additional sleeping.

Amenities include electricity, electic heating system, water from drilled well. Also there is a 8 x 16 foot dock with a 16 foot ramp .

The basic size of the cabin is 24 feet by 28 feet.
